Hi, I’m Vanessa and I’m so happy you’re here!

I took one breathwork class that woke me up in a way I wasn’t expecting, and my response was to do whatever I could to keep breathing on purpose. Within two years of my first breathwork experience I received my Pause Breathwork certification, a trauma-informed approach to intentional breathing, that measures transformation through regular integrative practice.

I’m not a glossy before and after story. I am very much in the work of being human. For me, Breathwork has been an internal space maker, a clearing out of unhelpful thoughts, and a gentle nudge to the stuck parts that keep us disconnected from our joy, creativity, and purposefulness.

I’m obsessed with learning through experience. I’ve studied and worked in the field of adult education and learning design for over 20 years. I believe experiencing the best of ourselves and connecting with each other will allow us to make the progress many of us are seeking. And as simple as it sounds, breathing on purpose is a doorway to our collective well-being.
